MEMBERSHIP SUMMARY
Membership as Community
Membership at Rooster Run Foundation is not a transaction — it’s participation in a living ecosystem. Members are part of what allows the sanctuary to function day after day, supporting not just individual animals, but the rhythms and relationships that make this place whole.
People engage in that support in different ways. Some members choose to volunteer their time, helping with daily care and learning the animals’ routines. Others, when the time is right, choose to entrust us with the lifetime care of an animal they love through our Freedom Fighters program. However someone participates, it all begins in the same place: belonging.
This community is built on shared values — freedom, friends, and forage — and on the understanding that caring well for animals is a collective effort.
