Feathers, Snouts, Hooves and Horns Farm Tour - 30-45 min - $55 per person

WALKING TOUR

Step into the heart of the sanctuary and meet a delightful mix of rescued animals—from chickens and pigs to goats, sheep, donkeys, and Slider the steer. This interactive farm tour is designed for animal lovers of all ages and offers hands-on experiences with some of our calm, friendly residents while learning their unique rescue stories.

Guests will spend time feeding animals, observing natural mixed-herd behaviors, and gaining insight into how rescued animals are cared for, including their diets, medical needs, and daily routines. Expect plenty of curious noses, gentle interactions, and memorable photo opportunities along the way.

Off-Road Hoof Beats - 45-60 minutes - $85 per person

Climb aboard for a one-of-a-kind off-road adventure that takes you deep into the pastures for an up-close look at our dynamic, multi-species herds. This guided UTV experience offers a rare opportunity to observe animals living as they were meant to—moving freely, interacting naturally, and expressing their individual personalities within a thoughtfully managed sanctuary environment.

As you travel through the fields, you’ll meet horses and their pasture companions, hear their rescue stories, and learn how training, herd dynamics, and daily care support both physical and emotional well-being. Guests will have opportunities to interact with select animals, observe natural behaviors from within the herd, and capture unforgettable photos in a truly unique setting.

SANCTUARY MEMBER EVENTS

Sanctuary Member Days are opportunities for members to spend extended, meaningful time at Rooster Run Foundation while learning more about the animals, the land, and the philosophy that guides their care. These gatherings are designed to be relaxed, educational, and deeply rooted in the rhythms of sanctuary life.

Members can expect a blend of hands-on experiences and quiet observation — spending time with different species, participating in daily care activities, and learning how animals live in social groups with appropriate forage, space, and routine. Along the way, there is time to ask questions, hear individual rescue stories, and gain insight into what compassionate, long-term care looks like in practice.

Each Member Day includes shared meals or snacks made with care, creating space for connection not just with the animals, but with fellow members who value freedom, friends, and forage. These days are welcoming for families and individuals alike and are designed to leave people feeling grounded, informed, and connected.

October 3rd - Explore Food, Forage, and Daily Care
An inside look at what animals eat, how diets are chosen, and how daily routines support physical and emotional health. Includes feeding time, discussion of forage choices, discussion of fermenting feed and behind-the-scenes care practices.

Staying at one of our Animal Experience Airbnbs offers the opportunity to slow down and spend more time immersed in sanctuary life. Whether you’re staying onsite or at our nearby location approximately 20 minutes from the ranch, these spaces are designed for rest, reflection, and quiet connection to the land and the animals we care for.

Guests often begin their days listening to the rhythms of the sanctuary, observing animals moving through familiar routines, or simply enjoying the stillness that comes with being close to open space and living systems. These stays are about presence rather than activity — offering a gentle way to experience life alongside animals at their own pace.

All Airbnb guests receive a discount on Rooster Run Foundation animal experiences, creating an easy and meaningful way to deepen your visit while you’re here.
